When our first was 2 the doctor suggested I get her evaluated because she was only using on e word sentences. We left with a processing disorder diagnosis. The next week I went in her room, she sat up and asked my, “Are we going to go downstairs now and have breakfast?” wrong diagnosis. I always say that my kids didn’t read a development milestones book. They reach these milestones when they’re ready. Try not to worry so much.
I’d be less worried if he had better understanding or more words, but we’re just going to have to wait and see.
