The Stitches & Stretchmarks family is made up of two grown-ups, a pre-schooler and a baby.
Ted was born on the 22nd of July 2011 weighing 9lb7oz.
He loves wrestling with Daddy, painting with Mummy, cars, dinosaurs and brooms.
Ben was born on the 1st of October 2013 weighing 8lb4.5oz. He loves The Grand Old Duke Of York, captain calamari and Ted.
I’m Ted’s Mum. I secretly dream of being a proper writer one day, but for now I’m a teacher. I love painting and making a mess with Ted and sharing books with Ben.
This is Daddy. He loves wrestling, Nintendo and popcorn. He’s the best Dad I could possibly want my boys to have, and he’s not too bad as a husband either!
Stitches and Stretchmarks is my story of stumbling through new and second-time parenthood, making mistakes and trying to share the lessons I’ve learned in the hope that other parents might gain something from my (often embarrassing) honesty.
Becoming a Mum was the greatest thing that’s ever happened, but being a Mum is a bloody hard slog.
This blog is about the good bits, the bad bits and the questions only Google could answer.
