Stitches and Stretchmarks aims to talk about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting in an honest but positive manner, but as I only have one two birth storyies to tell (so far!) a few of my readers have kindly agreed to share theirs.

My own birth story is here. It’s the story of a natural birth, a third degree tear and a lot of love.

My second birth story is here. It’s a story of feeling out of control after expecting a different birth.

My shy friend’s birth story is here. It’s the story of a forceps delivery after narrowly avoiding an emergency c-section.

Stacey Ann Hutchins’s birth story is here. It’s the story of an emergency c-section.

Louise’s birth story is here. It’s the story of ventouse and a 10lb7oz baby.

Sonia’s three birth stories are here. They culminate in an exciting in-car delivery.

Emily’s birth story is here. It’s the story of a 48hr labour and giving birth on the floor!

Kim’s birth story is here. It’s the story of triplets!

Cate’s birth story is here. It’s another tale of triplets – this time identical triplets!
